Hi, Mike for this scenario you will need your service manual that has all fastener torque specs and a wiring diagram on the back pages, parts fiche, and owners manual if you can't find the best tool you ever bought for your Suzuki, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one.

SOURCE: what gas is the best for my 2006 gsxr 1000

Use only premium gas . Don't burn any gas that has Ethanol, it is very corrosive. The brand of gas doesn't really matter, only the price does.

You have got to space it by feel,so it does not touch either side of the reluctor plates, check the balancer reluctor plates to make sure they are not bent, and the balancer is not coming apart in the rubber part.

SOURCE: where is the crank pos sensor located on 1998

Crankshaft Position Sensor. It's located just under the oil sender on the bottom front of the engine. Crankshaft position/speed sensor is an induction coil that goes into a hole in the side of the block and monitors a notch or bump on the crank for crankshaft position. It is held in by one small bolt....unfortunately, you have to pull the front motor mount bracket so you need to pull starter motor mount etc. to get it out of the block. Not a 5min job, but doable for anyone who knows his/her way around a basic tool box. Need to support engine while the front mount is off.-------------- Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Truck quit running, is getting fuel, spark, timing is dead on, local shop said it may be crank pos sensor or cam pos sensor, where are they located/

Very possible. I would check the sensor with a meter. I would say it most likely the crank shaft sensor. Some are located behind the pulley area and some are located at the back of the engine where the transmission meets the engine. Good Luck

Ohm out your reference sensor and speed sensor aka crank pos sensors. They are both located on drivers side up under exhaust manifold on back of the block. 1000 ohms is perfect.
