SOURCE: race tires

i wont recomand a use race only tires on public roads. Race tires are constructed in such a way that they are very unstable under normal street riding conditions. These tires also require higher operating temperatures for proper performance. These temperatures cannot be obtained within legal speed limits

SOURCE: Can't reassemble shuttle hook and shuttle race

the hook driver (still in machine) is 1/2 moon shape. The hook is also 1/2 moon shape. If you set the machine on its back, it's easier. Set the hook 1/2 into the other 1/2 of the hook driver to make a circle. Then put the hook cover on (machine still on its back) with the tabs for the twist locks pointed out. Needle gaurd to the top of the machine. Snap the twist locks in place and viola!

SOURCE: Remove bobbin race from Elna sewing machine

It is held in with 2 small screws but to remove it you must take out the feed dogs first. This is not really necessary. Get something sharp( like a small seam ripper that you may never use again) and cut the thread.Pull out what you can and then try sewing again. Should work.

2005 BMW 525i

i thought it was a smaller panel forward of that which is removed to gain access, at least that's how it was on the E39 model. should be similar. look for a small oval panel or "race track" looking panel.
