If it is the following connector it is a press in fit. Carefully remove the old brass fitting from the carburetor. Note: these are not swivel connectors as most users think. Position it at the angle needed before pressing the new connector.
Should be 2240rpm = 60mph. This is pretty standard across most Japanese bikes. Pretty well any speedo will work, if it has the right fitting. I used a 1973 TS185 speedo on my GSX750 until I could get a new cluster!
remove the top of the carburetor and slide pull the spring up compress it hold it inside the slide there is a plate remove it release the spring hold the cable push the carb slide up to the cap the cable end will push out look under the slide you will see the slot the cable end sits in its sloted to remove this position the end to the large side side and remove the slide,spring and cap pay attention to the routing of the cable then remove the cable from the throttle assembly at the handlebar nothing complicated there reverse the process with the new cable
