Connect the the + to the kill switch, and - to the CDI module.

SOURCE: trying to connect the wires to a 95 ktm lc4 620

This is for a 2000 400/640 ignition for KTM 640 lc4-e. Looking from the perspective of rider seated on motorcycle we have the following colour coded wires going from left to right.: 1. r/w (red/white) 2. bl (blue) 3. o (orange) 4. g (green) 5. ge (Yellow) .6 g/s. SOURCE: Purple solenoid wire shorted, no pwr coming from ign switch

look for a 5 amp fuse, crank fuse in car, not under hood

Gator E-3 150cc. Why is there no spark?

I am wondering how you know these wires are shorted?

Having replaced the entire ignition system, it would be safe to assume if one component had been faulty it should now spark so clearly something else is wrong.

Scooters and motorcycles tend to have complex wiring and with many modern examples including an anti-theft system, troubleshooting faults is difficult and without a wiring diagram is very difficult and time-consuming even for experts, near impossible for the uninitiated...
Even when testing a stator you need to know where the coils terminate, additionally it is useful to know when testing those coils with an ohmmeter, the resistance will be so low it will look like a short circuit with most analogue meters.

Even if there is no anti-theft system, if the ignition switch is on the instrument panel, ignition related wiring goes to the ignition switch and back again and it doesn't even need a faulty switch to stop the engine starting, a single corroded terminal or connector would be enough...

You have lost power to your ignition when it is in the on position check fuses or look for broken wires leading from ignition switch it could very well be in the switch it self

What viscosity oil do I put in the engine on my 350 bigbear

10w-30 is prob fine but you'll need oil rated for wet clutches. look for jaso-ma on the bottle. shell rotella diesel oil is what I use

Smc Ram new ignition

the majority of wires are constant power to lights ingition ect.. their is only one temp hot that will come from youer ingition coil switch . you have three poles on switch to conect too .positive negitive and temp positive . all positives are to positive on switch except one if two from coil . Next conect all your neg wires to neg poke
