Re: Can not set kill switch so that motor will operate>...
Most likely your kill SW when in run mood, you will have an open contact at your kill SW. When you are in kill mood the SW will be closed, this will go to ground, thus killing the motor. One way to check the kill SW is to disconnect the SW and ck for spark
Hi, Dan I would really love to help you with your bike question but due to the magnitude of yesterday's solar flare the batteries in my crystal ball are dead and my mental telepathy headset circuitry was melted. I need the year, make, and model of your motorcycle please click on the word "COMMENT" below and provide this information in the box that will open and then click on the green comment box in the bottom right-hand corner after it posts I will receive an "ALERT" icon that will allow me to respond to your information. Good luck and have a wonderful day.
Is this a Kill switch you installed? Or is this a factory type item? Any kill switch I put in and I have installed about 20. Usually goes between the battery and the starter. I hide them under the left front area of the seat. Mounted to the frame or motor mount. Whichever is less conspicuous. This way when I straddle the bike I place my hand on the seat at the front and just toggle the switch. And nobody is the wiser. Have fun with this, I usually do!
