The timing may be out.The timing chain may have been installed wrong with the timing marks out of alignment with the ones on the camshaft and crankshaft. If the distributor was removed that could be it too. To time it, if the timing chain was installed right , Take off the distributor cap. Make a mark where the number one spark plug wire is. remove the number one spark plug. turn the motor manually (in nuetral) with the parking brake on.Turn the motor and install a screwdriver or other shaft inside the number one sparkplug hole. Turn until it is at the top and you can feel it with the screwdriver. turn the rotor to the mark you placed on the number one wire. replace the cap. remove the screwdriver and replace the sparkplug . Your engine should be timed now. if not check your timing belt to see if it is in alignment with the proper marks on the cam and crankshaft.

SOURCE: timing marks for an yamaha r1 2001 need to change

You can find generic information at: http://www.dansmc.com/valve_timing.htm
Or downl;oad the service manual from http://pdftown.com/Yamaha-YZF-R1-2000-Service-Manual.html
Good luck! Not too hard once you have the engine out of the frame.

SOURCE: The razor head comes loose from the two arms.

The one piece motor drive which also contains the shaver head in the Braun wear out. They can be replaced by yourself or a shaver tech. A good place for parts, http://shaveroutlet.com/.

To disassemble the 7000 Series Braun shaver.

Disassembly of the 7000 Braun shaver is basically the same as the 8000 series Braun shaver listed below. The 7000 is actually easier to disassemble as the plastic is much thicker and the bottom socket cover pops right off as there are less tabs and they are bigger.

To disassemble the 8000 Braun Series shaver.

Remove the plastic cover on the bottom that covers the corded socket. Be careful, there are a total of two tabs on the short sides and four very small tabs on the long sides. I usedmy fingernail to create a space big enough to insert the corner of a credit card in the center of the long side opposite the blue light indicator, then gently removed the cover. Using a screwdriver could damage the plastic.

The two sides then pop off, they only fit on their respective side when replacing. Don't lose the two small black seals on the top of each side piece.

There are a total of four screws holding the body together. Remove the screws, using the proper flat blade or torx screwdriver. The shaver will then split into. You can then remove the the Motor Drive Unit and the separate circuit board with the batteries.

This would also be a good time to clean the goo buildup from around the shaver head.

Assembly is the reverse of above. The Motor Unit will only fit in one way, there is a flat side and a angular side. Be sure the pin for the trimmer is placed in its proper hole, or it won't extend.

SOURCE: My timing chain broke in my 2002 ford explorer

theres 3 sprokets stacked verticaly correct? the bottom shaft keyway should point straight up. the 2nd shaft keyway should point straight down. finally the top gear keyway should be pointing straight up. alittle mark on the gear teeth should match a mark on the lower gear teeth.

I have a 91 22re 4wd 5spd when it first starts it makes a loud clacking noise that goes away after a few seconds what is that noise my rocker arm shafts and rocker arms are in good condidion

Sounds like it could be your timing chain. There is an automatic chain tensioner and over time when the chain gets a lot of miles on it the plastic guides and chain have to be replaced. Typically around 125,000 miles or more. You can remove the valve cover and look down the front of the engine to verify this. Look to see if the plastic guides are still in place and that the chain is not rubbing a hole in the front timing chain cover. Let us know your findings.

My 2002 saturn sl the timing chain put a hole in the top cover and oil is comeing out of it what is the problems?

Sounds like the chain has stretched beyond the tensioners ability to keep the slack out of it. You will need to replace the chain, tensioner and the chain guides. Most times the cover can be repaired by cleaning the hole and the area around it, then sanding with 80 grit sandpaper and then applying liquid aluminum or similar repair material. DO NOT repair the hole and ignore the chain problem or you risk destroying the engine.
Unless you have done similar work, it's advisable that you have a competent shop do the work or at the very least, get yourself a chilton or haynes manual to guide you through it. If done incorrectly the valves will contact the pistons and cause a lot of damage, so follow instructions exactly.

How do I tune up a Yamaha pw 80??

Remove and thoroughly clean the exhaust and muffler of soot/carbon buildup, test/replace the spark plug, test/replace the coil/wire assembly, and ensure that the chain is at it's proper tension.

A full bike workup includes aligning the rear wheel, checking strut/shock damping pressure.

While the plug is out, if you have a compression test unit, or can get one, test the engine's compression. It helps over time to develop a chart of compression readings from each tuneup, when it comes time to properly diagnose engine problems.

Turns over but won't fire

well the plastic piece are from the timing chain guides are either broken or ripped off,and the metal rattling was probably the timing chain,,i think the timing chain jmped or broke and broke the guides,if thats the car you most likely bent the valves in the head,,,i would remove the cam cover and the timing chain cover and see what you got,you may need a engine
