What Cibie headlight reflector unit do I need for a 1977 Suzuki GT 750A and is this a direct replacement fit?

You certainly can try taking out the hdlt. and make sure the bulbs are out. You can rinse the headlight out with water and then let dry. Usually when you put the light back in the heat will actually dry the rest of it out. You can also you some buffing compound and clean the outside of it.

they are replaced from inside the engine compartment... you may have to remove the battery if it's on that side... do not touch the bulb as that will shorten it's life

You should be able to replace the bulb from the rear of the light from inside the engine compartment. I is a small bulb unlike the hole light as in older cars. You must pull the plug connector off the back of the bulb than un-clip the heavy wire spring retainer and pull the bulb back. Try to remember the position of the metal positioning tabs. It's not a bad idea to take it with you when you go to buy a replacement as well as the car info. The new bulb must be handled with extreme care. At no time can you touch the glass bulb part. The oils from you had will significantly reduce the bulbs life. Now just slide the bulb back into the hole noting that there are three tabs of different size to insure the proper position of the bulb to get the correct light pattern on the road. Good luck.
SOURCE: What kind of transmission oil
10 w 40 motor oil with no additives. NEVER use synthetic lubricants in a bike. They can cause the cork on the friction plates to swell. Then you need new plates. Please rate my answer. Thanks.
