SOURCE: wont start, new battery, relay good, starter good.

Check the Starter Solenoid mounted near the battery.Check it out in the dark...have someone try to start it and see if it sparks at the solenoid.connections may be loose. Also check/wiggle wiring harness to starter.

SOURCE: I have a 1999 Yamaha Wolverine. When start button

it sounds to me like you have a faulty terminal, check voltage reading to the relay from battery pos terminal, now push and hold button and recheck on same terminal, if it stays at around 12volts check terminal on other side of relay it this is lower significantly than first side replace again with new relay. of both terminals voltage drops you have faulty battery.

If battery shows good charge and you hear the starter click it is very common to have a bad ground. The battery ground point is hidden tight in the frame. To check just hook a jumper cable from the negative battery terminal to a bare spot on the frame and try to start it.

2000 v star classic 1100. The engine will not turn over. Replaced battery, starter solenoid, and starter relay. The starter is good. You can jumper the starter and the bike starts right up.

Starter

Jump the starter directly from a freshly charged battery NOT a car battery, if it turns then it's good and you may have a bad starter relay or neutral safety switch or starter switch is poorly grounded.

Replaced starter relay and stater in yamaha 1100 2001 v star

Charge battery to full, start in neutral, still clicks? Bad ground, or bad connection. Jump starter solenoid with screwdriver, etc. if motor turns over the relay is bad. Chaz Moto DC

Bike won't start

I had the same problem and found the ground was corroded. Short the negative side of the battery to the frame and try again, you should get it started immediately!!!!!!!!
