SOURCE: adjust clutch cable

If you have a stock cable you need a 9/16 and a 1/2 in. wrench. about 1/2 way downn the cable there is a rubber boot. pull the rubber boot over the adjustment. Loosen the liock nut and adjust the cable so you have aprox 1/8 to 1/16 in. slack in the handle. Re tighten the lock nut and pull the rubber back over the adjustment.

SOURCE: oil change 1999H D Electra glide

The plug ( 3/4 wrench ) under the trans when your looking at the trans cover ( right side of the bike ) is the trans. If you drained that replace it with 24 oz. of either HD trans fluid or I prefer Golden Spectro 75/140 ( much better shifting on a Harley ( trust me you'll never go back to HD trans fluid ) the drain for your motor oils is on the same pan ( on the bottom ) but it's the plug facing the front of the bike. Looks just like the trans plug. Both use a 11105 o ring which you should replace everytime ( just for piece of mind as well as leaks ) you need 4 quarts of 20/59 HD oil. Hope it helps.

SOURCE: I keep blowing the accessory fuse on my electra glide

I'd say that you have an intermittant short somewhere. These are very difficult to find. I'd start at the tail light assembly as most of the time, I've found the shorts in that area, from the seat back to the tail light assembly.

Good Luck

Why my turn signal lights are flashing no my flht 2002

Is it turn signals or four way flashers??? There is a big difference. With a TSM (not a TSSM) if the four-way flashers flash 6 times shortly after the ignition switch is turned to ON you should check for DTC's that have been set.

Removal of throttle grip

The rubber grip on the throttle side of the handlebar usually is glued on and has to be cut off. Other than that, the throttle itself is held in place by the brake lever clamp. If you get into that area, be careful, you may break off the brake light plunger from it's actuator. I don't feel comfortable telling you to go any further than just removing the rubber sleeve.

I have a 1990 hd ultr clasic tour glide. when i use my turn signals my instrument lights and gauges flash. all grounds have been cleaned and look good.

Your turn signals are controlled by the turn signal cancelling unit and the only thing it has to do with the lights and gauges is the power source. Check your "lights" circuit breaker. It sounds like you may have a short circuit somewhere causing the circuit breaker to break and then reset, only to break again. This happening over and over will appear to be a turn signal flashing. Find the circuit breakers, usually under the seat, and listen when you turn the turn signals on. See if you can hear the circuit breaker "clicking". Good Luck!

2002 Harley Davidson Electra Glide FLHTPI loses all electrical.

I had the same problem on my 2002 Electra Glide, started last year, 2012 and got worse this year, could not drive it more then 5 minutes and all electrical died for just a few seconds and would come back on, start bike again, sure enough it would die again, and again, and again.
What I did that fixed the problem was simple and only cost $7 Canaadian.
Take off the seat,
In front of the battery you will notice a relay, change it.problem fixed
Has been working without a problem all summer.
One thing to note, the relay has two posts, one is copper the other is aluminum, the positive with the two wires goes on the copper post.
If you can't figure out where the other wire goes you should not be riding a Harley. LOL
I switched out the old relay in the spring and to this day, Oct 4, it has never happened again.
Good luck, hope it works for you.

No brake light

Use a multi meter to test operation and continuity from the switch backwards.

Be methodical and logical and you will eventually find the break in the circuit.
