SOURCE: honda cbr 600 wont start

hi, each lead has the specific number on it. if you do this correctly then they genrally give you an idea to where the sit in the coils( the way they bend :-) ) also i believe the coils are better off been attached to the frame once you are sure leads are in corect order and possitioned correctly in the coils.i just presumed the coils neaded earthing. make sure battery is pleny charged as a bad battery can just hinder. it is also very easy to flood the bike so just check the plugs again. if they are unusually wet then dry them off and try again . otherwise maybe try cleaning all electics.

hope this somehow helped

SOURCE: 2002 vtx 1800c wont idle, new plugs, wires ok, no fi

AGREED, had the same problem; hesitation, skipping, popping at low speeds. Ran good w/ new plugs for short time. tried injector cleaner. No FI codes. Dealer couldn't figure it out after $200! I replaced the $26 fuel pressure regulator and she runs Great!!

Miss firing

USA car?
engine runs bad, gross misfiring, and stalls and idle speed all wrong>?
and of course all engines smell of unburned fuel when misfiring..so..
and gross loss of power. from engines. sure that is misfire too.
so lets work MISFIRE
fist what engine is this, sure the HONDA mistake,
its really an Isuzu engine. (abomination car) with USA axles. wow.
2.6L 120 hp (89 kW) I4
3.2L 175 hp (130 kW) V6

which engine, we cant fix engines blind. so...
so i drop to generic answsers...... no eng.
1: ever do the 60,000 mile tuneup,?? if not ?,FAIL she will..
2: are all 4 or 6 spark plugs all firing?into fresh spark plugs>?
3: is compression at or or better than 150PSI? on all cyl.
4: is it flooding?
5: is the check engine light on key on then goes out running?
if the CEL hangs up glowing running then scan the ECU.
scan it and get the DTC error codes.
use any scan tool , (OBD2) plugged into the 16pin DLC connector
near knees.
scan it and find what errors you have, i bet, P030x codes.
those are misfire, x = cylinder that is bad. 0= all.

there is a start.
fuel filter fresh. ? (if found easy near gas tank)

bad need of a tuneup? like new spark plugs, ?
172 , is 02 rich/ lean warning. this one is low oxy for rich.
this code can just be a victim. for sure , with misfire.
means 02 sensor stuck at rich,
what is water temp in engine coolant, at failure? less than 150F?
could be lots of things.
leaking injectors, bad fuel.
injector sticking> causing misfire.
id use a scan tool and watch all sensor when it fails.
too high fuel pressure.
misfires cold, but only luke warm cold starts not fully cold.

just one DTC, no P0300 or 30x misfire codes, not even P0300 pendings?

I have a1992 olds 88 that is running ok when cold. when it warms up it misses and has no power . sometimes it stalls at corners. the mas air flow ,and computor have been changed code 41 and 44 shoe up on...

when's the last time you did a full tune up? (air and fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor) or could be a number of things. i would look at the temp sensor. i believe when they fail, they peg out all the way cold or all the way hot. so your car thinks it is still cold, when you have reached operating temps, causeing your misfire. good-day !

Hard to Start Bike

Hello.

Sparkplugs. That will fix it.

You can choose between 3 types the normal the cold and the hot (performance) sparkplugs. The normal for medium temperatures is the best, the cold is suited for bellow 5º C temps. And the hot is for hot weather and performance usage.

Hope that helps.
