SOURCE: NO SPARK,110CC, 4 STROKE,NEW STATOR,CDI,AND RECTIFIER

Hey whats up? Try back probing your wires going to the CDI unit with a volt meter or continuity tester to make sure you do have any broken wires. Then check the stater make it is good. If sure how to check the starter take it a bike repair shop they should check it for free.. If that does work let me know and I will look further into it for you. Good Luck.

SOURCE: i have changed my stator and cdi box on a 1999

According to my polaris manual, is says'' The regulator / rectifier is tested by process of elimination ( when all other possable causesof chargingsystem failurehave been checkedand eliminated, the rectifier is defective). I had to replace my stator and then had a simular problem as you have and it was that the ignition pulse coil wasn't properly guaged ( sometimes the metal retainer will allow slight movement) You might want to also check the coil resistance 0.3 to 0.5 ohms the coil secondary resistance spark plug cap installed 11,300 ohms spark plug cap removed6300 ohms. Hope this helps out. Good luck

Will cdi box stop stator from firing on a 125cc pit dirt bike

Stator will stop the cdi from firing the spark plug and either cdi or stator if bad will stop a spark from being created. The coil, wiring, kill switch and other things can also stop ignition spark.

sounds to me if it will spark once and thats it. than your stator pickup hapened to go bad ive had it happen to me randomly on multiple atvs of mine or customers. look at the motor find the group of wire that lead into the engine side caseing remove the cover and you will see a circle shaped peice with copper windings all around it. either that peice is bad or the litlle black peice of plastic thats bolted down just beside it is bad. you can use a multimeter to check the wires but i dont know the specs. but the stator pickup is commonly the problem.

hello, you probably need to have your stator checked out, sometimes the pickup coil in the stator will go out, also you can try ign coil, the one spark plug wire is hooked to,warriors are bad about cdi going out, mine would idle, would not rev up, would bog down, source coil in stator probably needs to be checked also..

hello, usually you have 3 things for firing problems, stator and stator pickup coil, or ign coil, or cdi, i have a 2000 warrior 350, i just went through all that, you can buy after market cdi from procom engineering inc. i purchased one for my warrior 76.00 , it advances timing, hotter spark etc.most of the time it is the stator, pick up coil, both are hooked up together in the stator case, left side of motor, warrior cdi usually goes bad, havent heard of cdi on 88 model, may need to check with dealer.
