I just got a tomos 36cc or 50cc. Not sure what it is and don't know if it's a 2 or 4 stroke. How do I tell the difference?

They are all Two Strokes. You can also tell by the cylinder head on yours that there is no inlet and exhaust valve.

Yes. If you look around, you might be able to get a kit to eliminate the oil injection pump.

There should be a tank, usually under the seat or behind the rear side panels. Just fill the 2-stroke tank and don't worry about the mixing, the engine does it on it's own.

SOURCE: 1979 yamaha enduro 50cc 2 stroke fouls plug quickly. I am not using proper jet needle. Can't find one. Is this one reason plug is fouling?

More than likely, a 2 stroke engine is very picky about the fuel mixture. Try and find a new one. there is a DT owners club and most club trials riders will be able to tell you where to find one. Or try "Wemoto" on the web. they may have the bit you are looking for.

Oil in engine scooter

to start with is it a 4 stroke or 2 stroke. If it is a 2 stroke the oil goes in with the petrol. If a 4 stroke look for a removable plug in the crankcase

I bought a 2006 Tomos A3550 used. Is it a 2 or 4 cycle engine?

almost certainly a 2 stroke but easy to confim, check to see if there are valves on the cylinder head, 2 strokes dont have any, check for an oil dipstick on the engine bottom casing again 2 strokes dont have an oil sump so no dipstick!
