Make sure the handle bar is turned all the way to the right or all the way to the left when locking the steering. The lock tumblers are separate from the contact base, so you should be able to put some penetrating oil into key hole this should ease the mechanism. Don't forget to spray the locking pin mechanism on the top of the lower triple clamp.
remove the belly pan,undo the radiator there are 2 bolts either side of the manifold undo these and the bolt at the rear near the silencer. the exhaust should now be able to be removed.
