What about the immobilizer and ignition control module or ECM
guessing wastes money so have the fault codes read first and then fix the problem area

SOURCE: I can NOT GET SPARK

You don't mention the spark plug leads. We had the same problem and found it was a cracked lead. However, WE now have a problem! We took the leads off to get new ones and have lost the diagram we made showing which lead goes where - can you help?!

SOURCE: my engine shuts off while im driving

Check ecm for number 1228253. If it has this one in it you will have a cutting off problem. Gm replaced these with #16198264 The cam sensor magnet on the cam gear will deteriorate and give problems. This will require removal of the timing cover.

SOURCE: 2003 chev malibu wont start due to lack of spark

That car has 2 crank sensors , did you replace both? One is at the front crank pulley and the other is behind and low on the engine block, above oil pan. Be sure the ICM (ign control module has a good ground, (black wire) it grounds at a bracket where the trans bolts to the engine approx at the 2 o'clock position.

Testimonial: "the check the ground was a good suggestion, i will do that at my first opportunity"

Hyundai 1.6 Elantra gls, does the spark come from the cylinder head or the crank shaft

neither
the crank shaft position sensor triggers the ignition control module that generates the spark either internally or through a coil/ pack
the cam position sensor ok, s that process to prove that the cam shaft is turning correctly

No start has spark on 1&4 but no spark 2&3 also has code po 335 crank sensor replaced sensor still no start

Hi,if you are geting a spark on one and four then it could be a coil pack as one coil pack will take care of one and four and the other one will take care of 2 and free.
hope this was some help,.
all the best

Hyundai 2.7 P303, P306 at the same time

I would say its the coil. A crank or cam sensor could cause one cylinder to miss, or go completely dead, but I doubt it would affect two cylinders. And you would get a code for either sensor.

2000 safari van no spark to spark plugs turns over but won't fire

Sounds like it is either a bad coil pack, cam position sensor or crank position sensor. The coil pack delivers the spark to the plugs and the 2 sensors tell the computer when to tell the coil pack to spark.

I cant get spark out of the coil pack

cam sensor fires the injectors to synchronise injector pulsing with the spark at the spark plugs.. U need to probably change the crankshaft sensor (around the crank pulley) as the crank sensor is what controls the ignition spark.
hope that does it.

200 saturn code 340 /300

HELLO do you have a spark tester????I have seen regular spark plugs show NO spark then plug in s spark tester boom spark rods about 1/4 inch shoot out!!!!!!!! okay so cam shaft sensor code appear then multiple cylinder miss fire code! sure sounds like one of those two coil packs are not producing!!!! think about this:how can a cam sensor work in harmony when the computer is malfunctioning due to multiple misfire! your car has thrown SOS codes to you through on board diagnostics Morris codes your ignoring them!!! if I was you I would take those coils and test for spark with a "spark" tester keep in mind to check them for resistance with a volt meter tops take out spark plugs they are probably soaked replace them to!!!!good luck I hope my shared experience has help you some what!
