Check relays and fuses probably burnt up a few

IT SOUND LIKE A BAD FUEL PUMP TO ME.
TRY SCANNING THE VEHICLE FOR ANY CODE.
IF THERE ARE CODES POST THEM HERE AND I WILL LOOK THEM UP FOR YOU

It might not be the relay you are hearing, but the electronic fuel pump (located in the gas tank....yeh!!!) turning on and off. Have you had this checked out??

Fords have inertia fuel cut off switch. You need to check that first. If you dont have fuel. If you have fuel and no spark you need to check for inj pulse to injector. Make sure no fuses are blown. If no spark and no injector pulse then replace cranksensor.

Are you positive its the fuel pump? Have you tried running the pump with the return line off to see if it pumps fuel? They don't always have to make a noise.

your fuel pump should cycle on until the proper fuel pressure is achieved then it should shut off
