try removing positive cable from batt. for 5min.
replace turn ign. switch on about 5sec. dont crank it.
cut it off.now crank it.
see if that correct he problem

There is a way to obtain the fault code that is causing the issue. From the fault code you can cross reference that with what sensor is throwing up the flag. the bike has efi.
if the f1 light is flashing then it looks as if a dealer is your next port of call as the fi would indicate a problem with the efi (electronic fuel injection) system
