Not sure I follow you. The alternator should have a main wire going to the battery, and a plug with 3 wires molded into it. It should be almost impossible to hook it up wrong. I can get you the diagram but I don't know if it will help much. You may need to go to a salvage yard and get a wiring harness to fit the alternator plug. On a 2000 model 4 cyl the red wire goes to the gauges fuse, the yellow wire goes to the warning light, and the small white wire goes to the 7.5amp alternator fuse.
I am sorry but we don't have wiring diagrams here at fixya because the diagrams are copy protected. You can download the diagrams for a small fee here.
You probably don't need the wiring diagram for the radio, as long as you have the connections that came with it from the factory all you need is an adapter for the car harness.
Fit My Car Put your vehicle information in there and it will show you everything that's compatible with your car.
If you do in fact need the wiring diagram of the radio you can find it on the manufacturers website.
Your shouldn't have any spark plug wires on your vehicle. There should be a coil on top of each spark plug. The firing order is 1 3 7 2 6 5 4 8 if that helps. I went back a year incase you had a late model 2000 but that 4.6 also has a coil on plug. If you do have spark plug wires, I don't think that's the original engine then.
you do not need a code. Pull out the radio, take the pink wire, the parking brake wire, and cut it so you can connect it straight to the radio ground wire. This will tell the unit that the parking brake is always on.
To change a spark plug. 1.Disconnect the wire attached to the spark plug it would be wise to do only one at a time! 2.Take a long socket that will fit the spark plug 3.Attach to the socket wrench and turn counter clockwise until off. 4. Put the new spark plug in and hand screw until tight then turn the socket wrench clockwise until completely tight usually 1 1/2 turns. 5.Then reconnect the spark plug wire. Easy as that. Repeat steps 3-5 for the rest and remember ONE PLUG WIRE AT A TIME!
