How does the clutch disengage all the way on a Kawasaki Mojave 250 ATV

its not likely the cdi if you have any spark. check the cable, coil and spark plug cap (over looked a lot!) for the correct resistances.

please post in the area for this product as is in air conditioner area.

Look at kick start gears behind the clutch basket. The bushings on the gears wear out causing the gear to hit rivets on back of clutch basket creating a loud hard knock. you will have to replace whole gear the bushings are not sold seperatly

There is no reverse on a Z 250 C, i dont know of any 2 wheeled motorcycles that reverse.
