That would be a problem with either the alternator, or voltage regulator. make sure alternator belt is not slipping, then check with voltage tester at the alternator for voltage. if that reads good, then replace regulator.

If the regulator is the original it will have a adjusting screw on the righthand side under the cover check the output readings and adjust to about 15-16volts that should keep the battery up.

How to connect 4 12 volt batteries to Yamaha golf cart please

It depends on the model, but they are usually wires in series to give 48 volts to the motors, so plus to minus on each them.

Cart positive lead to batt 1 + the - to batt 2 + to batt 3 - to Batt 4 + and the minus - of batt 4 to the cart.

Why won't my electric club golf cart run? It makes a noise when I put it in drive or reverse & it won't move. I added some water & charged it & it seemed like it was doing fine until it shortly died.

Ok, first I hope u are putting distilled water in the battery, not just any water. Should not overfill it either. Looks like the electrolite ( sulfuric acid) in your golf cart had been diluted to the point where it doesn’t hold a charge. Also when u wipe all that stuff around the battery please wear gloves and safety goggles. Looks like u might need a new battery for your cart. Good luck!

I have a 2010 yamaha golf cart, has brand new batteries, and the batteries drain by nine holes,is it the voltage regulator? or something else

Make sure the batteries are fully charged. if your cart has it's own charger it may not fully charge. I would purchase a portable one and make sure they fully charge then you would know whether the cart charger is working.

MY Yamaha golf cart is fully charged, I play 18 holes and the charger meter drops to about 50% and then the green light turns to yellow, Whats up with that??? Dave

Does the cart move? If you still have good battery power then I would the battery meter. Otherwise you might have a low or bad battery. Need to check each battery under load.
