Re: Hi , I have a Suzuki k8 1000, showing a C93 error,...
Alana, C93 is the steering damper solenoid sensor. Why it is not starting is a different problem that may correct C93 code.
Not turning over, check battery condition and connections, fuses/relays, wiring and plugs, Test/check ignition switch and button, check/test solenoid/starter,etc.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

I was looking for the Owners manual to see if there is a wheel where you can adjust the brightness or turn the dash light illumination off altogether? I didn't find that, but I did find the service manual!
sounds like it dosent recognize the key you can try and disconect the batt for 10 mins then try that ,if not someone with good diagnostic equipment to reprogram keys
why replace the one most expensive part, that never fails.?
$500 buck guess too... wow !
would not fuses be the first check? and wiring connectors pulled.? or not seated right? (Prev. owners, messing with struff?)
how long is long, 1month , year, decade?
no year stated, wow.
and at least V5 is stated , this is the H25 engine.
I restore old cars now, (retired, so seen it all)
bad fuel
bad fuel packs up filter , and then packs the 10micron internal to injectors tiny screens. doom.
you said no start, but ILL assume it cranks robustly, RIGHT?
I then check for spark x6 , if no spark work that.
I got spark x6 , so next is fueling, so i use TEST FUEL.
It runs for 3 seconds and stops. ah , fuel system failures.
watch scotty here and post your results. GAS engines.
I have a 2004 FSM and alldata.com account so can get
all facts and all p/n of all parts on car.
fast. and have a car same.
The car has and OBD2 scan port. why not connect a real scan too
there and look for DTC errors, the CEL is mostly USELESS unless dead keyon.
the CEL if for smog.
the Scan tool shows all errors. scan it. why work blind?
also using live data stream, with tool crank engine for 5 seconds
and look for live CMP or CKP sensor errors. ( many so called pros dont even know that trick) check TPS action key on.
Is ECT sensor (and IAT) reading near ambient air temps?
it can starts so those 2 sensors read ambient. if not they are bad.
or disconnected. etc.
post my tests results and year.
get cause fast.
ask.
Hi, From the information on your post it states you have a 2010 Suzuki. My suggestion would be for warranty reasons to take your vehicle to the dealer and show them the problem. Very likely the issue is covered under your warranty. Wayne
