Will it work if you have water in oil?

It will work but you will eventually seriously damage the engine. Water in the oil will cause it to emulsify preventing it working properly as a lubricant. The water turned to steam will damage steel by causing rust (Oxidisation).

If you have a water cooled motorcycle and you have water in the oil is it an indication of a serious problem.

For instance, if the cylinder head is leaking water into the cylinder because of a faulty head gasket or warped head. The cylinder will fill with water. As water is non compressible it will cause the piston to bend or break the con rod causing significant engine damage.

If it fails at high speed on a bike it could be fatal to have the engine seize.

Water just goy into my muffler and my dirt bike wont start is it the pistons

It would talke a lot of water to get into the pistons under normal circumstances. Pull the plugs and try to give it a kick. If there is water in there, it should come out when you kick it. Check the oil for water contamination. If you find any water, change your oil immediately. Oil should look like honey or it shuld be black. Anything else is contaminatied. If you find water, squirt oil into each spark plug hole and turn your engine over - get local advice from your motorcycle shop.

Oil cold engine

Some manufacturers use a hybrid cooling method where engine oil is circulated between the engine case and a small radiator. Here the oil doubles as cooling liquid, prompting the name "oil-cooling." Suzuki has produced many "oil-cooled" motorcycles.
