How do you replace the horn on the 2007 jeep compass?

fuse 23 blown? is car battery discharged? (other symptoms not stated ?)
my guess is you can't see the horn, and the bolt?.
but can't reach it? that it?

That is correct. the relay is buried deep inside the TIPM where I only go...and others ,not shy...
im not so daft to replace a whole, TIPM for a bad relay or driver. for any horn... but you can....
it is your cash.
MP(49) schematic. is clear. as day.

1: is horn ground rusty? (look, examine...)
2: does 12vdc reach horn , honking (a voltmeter tells you this)
if #2 fails the PCM must be scanned to see why.
a must. scan it NOW.
B2336? B2338 (horn not grounded)
b2371 is shorted horn
like that?

if there is DTC that says the horn driver is bad, it is... end story. well, not doing the bad story.
and swapping in new TIPM.'
or reprogramming scrambled is dealer only fix.24982994-etvqydtva0wxu40xhy30x2n2-1-2.jpg

After the battery was replaced on the car, the key less entry does not work correctly, when you lock it, the lights do NOT flash and the horn does NOT beep, when you unlock it the lights DO flash but the...

You might need to take it in to a dealer to have the fob synched to the car. Is this in Canada , USA or some other country? Some counties have an immobilizer that can become confused if they lose power completley ... like from changing the battery.

How to replace horn on suzuki esteem 2000

http://www.autobarn.net/wol336.html
The horn in located below the right side (passenger side) headlight. What you need to do is get a 9/32 socket or something this size, and remove the covering from under the engine compartment. So, lay down on the ground remover the (black ground cover which keeps debris from heading to the engine area) located between the tire and headlight. Once that is off suprise there is the horn.............beep beep

the horn is behind the front bumper or grille somewhere. the relay is probably behind the dash inside the vehicle. when you push the horn do you hear a ticking noise? if you do, follow the ticking noise to find the relay.(it makes the noise)if it makes the noise, it probably works and you should check the wire connection to the horn unit. it looks like a nautilus, sort of a coil resulting in one open end, pointing down.it is abou the size of your hand. if it does not make a noise it would probably be your horn fuse or your switch look at the link www.auto barn

Horn not working ! it worked once then stopped any

start at the horn to see if it the wire is connected, then i would remove that wire and use a jumper wire from a positive(battery) to the horn itself and see if you get any sound. If the horn beeps then the horn itself is not the issue. check your horn fuse and relay. if you are getting power at the fuse and relay it is somewhere in the steering column. possible the horn pad itself or the horn cam. If you have have this in for repairs in the past dealing with the steering column it might not have been hooked back up properly. but then again how often do you use your horn it might have been not working for quite awhile. hope this helps.

Boat horn not working; fuse is good

TOOL NEEDED (1) DC test light or probe. TROUBLESHOOTING (1) generally a horn just has two wires positive and negative. Test negative by connecting dc test light negative to the negative on the back of the horn. use positive side of dc test light and touch a known positive connection. dc test light should light if not. find clean know ground for horn. Test positive by connecting neg side of dc test light to a know negative connection. use positive side of the dc test light and touch positive side of horn. test light should light up when you touch the horn switch. if dc test light does not light take a jumper wire and connect one side of jump wire to a known positive connection. take other side of jumper wire and lightly touch positive side of horn connection. horn should beep. if horn does not beep replace horn. if horn does beep test and or replace horn switch.

2004 Olds Silhouette - electric door locks lock on their own

Most likely your alarm system needs reset. When you use the button to turn the alarm on and off the horn beeps and lights flash. Horn beep when switch turned on, makes sense would be in the alarm system with all you've told.

Horn works periodically what's the issue?

could just be the actual horn in the car..before i replaced it i would look for a loose wire on the aftermarket alarm though..
