Hi Can I fit disc brakes to my sones Giant MTX 225?

Not unless you see the tabs required to mount traditional standardized disc brakes on the fork and left seat stay.

Converting this bike to disc will cost you more than the bike is worth. Get a bike with disc on it.

There are some schemes for adding disc to non-disc-compatible frames but they're Rube Goldberg solutions. And you still need to get new wheels and new brake levers if you're going with hydraulics.

The brakes are getting stuck and the wheel doesn't tuen

You do not say what kind of bike, speed bike?Coaster brake? hand brakes, pedal brake? If, it is a hand brake, it usually means that your wheel is bent and needs to be trued. You cannot adjust brakes with a bent wheel and you need a truing stand.. If it is a coaster brake you need you hub rebuilt as there is an part broken inside the hub.

Disc Brake

The teloscopic forks have mounts for disc brakes so you would need forks from a bike with disc brakes and the front tire with the rotor and caliper all off the same bike so it would all bolt up. Most forks are the same diameter but measure to make sure.
