Were is the oil filter located - 1992 Yamaha TDM 850

the oil preasure switch is always mostly located where the wires go to the oil preasure switch usually beside the oil filter

so look on the diagram ... look online for the info on google

The oil filter is located under the car, on the engine block, next to the oil pan. Locate the oil filter and oil drain plug underneath your Pontiac Grand Am. The oil drain plug is under the oil pan with the filter housed nearby.
Oil filter cartridge is located on the oil pan. you will need a special tool that can be purchased at an auto parts store. drain the oil, use the tool to remove the cartridge, replace it, screw the cover back on , screw drain plug back in, refill oil , start the car and check for leaks. To reset the "change oil" light, just key the car on and hit the gas peddal 3 times pretty quickly. You'll hear a different sounding chime than you are use to, and the light will be off. Thanks. The Location of the oil filter depends on which engine you have in your CTS. the 3.2 engine the oil filter is located on the bottom of the engine to the left of the oil pan. It is not a screw on type filter it is a canister filter. You will have to unscrew the lid to gain access to the oil filter. On the 3.6 Engine the oil filter is also a canister filter but it is located on the top side of the engine. On the drivers side around the center of the engine cover. It will take a 15/16 socket to remove the lid.

This is for a 96' , 3.8L but it's all I could find, but will check again if no help. Let me know.

If this is the V6 engine, your oil filter should be a canister type filter, it should be located on the passenger side, underneath at the front of the engine. You should see what looks like a black cap (about the size of an oil filter) your oil filter is located inside this canister. Hope this helps.

The oil filter is in a filter housing located on the top of the engine. Take the engine cover off. The 3, 10mm nuts are located under the circular pop-off covers that attach the plastic engine cover. You should see the oil filter housing to the right of the engine valve cover. The oil filter housing is a black, plastic cylinder with a cover that unscrews. The filter is inside of this. Make sure you drain the oil before unscrewing the cover to the filter housing.
