Why does the battery run down over night in my vehicle

2002 grand caravan is parked it sounds like the blend door motor comes on and goes off by it's and runs the battery down. Battery and alternator are both good as is the blend air door. I suspect a relay somewhere in the system

Could be the radiator fan running. Check the temp switch and relay.

Testimonial: "That didn't work. The tapping sound is defiantly coming from inside. Would you have any other suggestions?"

"Inside"? Open the fuse box, and start pulling fuses one at a time. Put each one back after you pull and listen. Once you find the one that makes the noise stop, that helps to locate what it is...

2002 Grand Caravan. Overhead console lighted switches are not lighting. The Map lights that shine straight down works but none of the others back lights. Side door switch, rear gate switch, garage door...

The first thing that comes to mind is that the dash lights scroll dimmer is scrolled all the way in one direction which manually shuts off all the interior lights, even if a door is opened. At night turn on the parking lamps and then scroll the dash lights dimmer until the dash, radio face, overhead console, etc is brighter. Turn off the headlamp switch. Shut off the engine and exit the vehicle. Interior lights on? Hope this helps.

first I would be looking at the body switches for dirt or rust causing a false signal.. then I would adjust the part of the alarm that the wind affects..it should be adjustable for sensitivity..the dealer service should be able to advise you..if not check with an alarm service company..that installs these systems..good luck..

2005 grand caravan front heater and defrorst not working ,rear heater is working . i also hear a hissing noice on the passenger side

Just a suspicion: hissing noise comes from failed/jammed/malfunctioning motor to move the door
in the ducting to route heated air to the hoses/ports for "heater" and "defrost."
Problem: failure of motor/linkage to heater/defrost selector door under the dash on the passenger side.
Also sounds like you have not blown fuse to this selector door.
Also - hissing noise could be air being forced against the closed door (which should be open) - in this
case, you'd want to check the fuse to the heater/defroster actuator door.
The rear heater works since its function is not related to the operation of the front heater/defroster.

Hi .my 2002 jeep blows hot air on the passenger side but not on the drivers side

it sounds to me like your blend doors on your h-vac box are not working i dont mean that all of them are not working but maybe just one i have replaced many of these blend doors on the grand cherokee's. underneth the dash on the passengers side to the left there sould be a blend door motor unbolt it and turn the car on and start playing with the climate controls this sould make the motors shaft turn if so check the shaft that is coming out of the h-vac box that is one of your blend doors if you cand turn it 360 or more then its broken and you must replace it for it to work again and some times that shaft will turn 160 and thats good but there is two blend doors that are connected and while one may the other may not and also to replace the blend doors you must pull the dash out and the h-vac box out if your not a skilled tech i whould take it to a good shop because you must all disconnect your a/c lines.

Only hot air blowing not getting colder

Ok, you will need to check the pressure of the a/c system. It may not be enough freeon, and if thats the case, there is a leak somewhere, You will need to find the leak and repair as nesessary. Whatever freeon is in the system will need to be recovered in a special machine. After the repair, the a/c system will have to be vaccuumed for aprox 30 min. If system holds vacuum, then you can proceed to charge system to factory specs. If there is enough freeon, then your vehicle may have a problem with the heater box itself. Blend door not moving because of a faulty blend door motor/actuator or broken blend door. Or it may even be a heater control head. Go through the first steps and work your way down.
