Hard too start in morning - Cars & Trucks

Make certain that your temperature sensor is operating properly. You might not be going into phase lock.

1. Have your battery checked - Load Test
2. Check cable connections at Battery and at Starter solenoid, must be clean and tight.
3. Have the starter motor checked

Have a compression test done to determine the engine condition. With the hard start and oil usage it points to a worn rings and a lower compression pressure than is required.

Check fuel pressure with a gauge in the morning,
before you turn on the key, to see if the system holds

May have a bad fuel pump

yes i find it hard to get started in the morning too so i stay in bed !

What engine do you have?

Erc valve is stuck

Check the power to the cold start injector. (it's only going to have fire for a few sec. after the key is turned on). If the fire is good, replace the cold start injector. This injector is activated for a few seconds when the engen temp is low to add a little fuel lower down in the intake and closer to the pistons.

Try changing the fuel filter hope that helps or solves the problem
