My keys are looked in the seat of scooter ? how d i get them out ?

The seat lock and key are pretty low security.

Could have a wiring issue you should look in the console make sure nothing is crossed.

Look around below the seat, usually on the left side. There's often a lock there and if you insert the key and turn it the seat latch should release. Some scooters unlock the seat latch by turning or pushing the key a certain way in the ignition.

Make sure the vehicle is balanced on the centerstand. The centerstand is a metal bracket located in the middle on the bottom of the scooter. Engaging it means that the scooter is resting on the front tire and centerstand. The rear tire is raised slightly off the ground.

Insert your ignition key into the main ignition switch. The switch is located on the inside front of the scooter just to the right of center and below the handlebars.

Twist the key to the left, or counterclockwise, to the position on the switch marked Open. If the scooter is not in the locked position, turn the key to the first Open position. If the scooter is in the locked position, turn the key to the second Open position. In either case, turn the key counterclockwise one notch to the respective Open position. The Yamaha Vino Scooter Owner's Manual cautions you that you should not push down on the key while turning to the Open position.

Grasp the end of the seat nearest the front wheel and pull it upward to raise it on the hinges located at the rear. Now you can store or retrieve items from the storage compartment

oh my freaking god, no one is of help here.

fellow kymco owner here, id start off by looking for a locksmith to make up a key for you. they typically just break into the key lock, pull out the cylinder, and use the pins to aid in cutting a key. as soon as that is done, they will have a key done for you without destroying your locks. then as soon as your done, ask them to make 2 extra copies of your key and keep them spare somewhere. i keep one in my wallet, but the key head cut down smaller, and the other at home.

1)Make sure the battery's fully charged..
2)Your brake lock and unlock leaver under your seat..be sure its totally engaged in the locked position in other words ''all the way pushed down''.
3)Take the shroud off the back, this can be done by removing the seat, hold the seat leaver up towards you ,Now you should be able to rotate the seat when you have lifted that leaver when it does rotate lift up the seat it will come off.now that the seat,the shroud are off. you will be able to see the battery's make sure the connections are good and tight...
4)Tilt the scooter over on its side there is a grayish white cable this is your front-to-rear cable follow it from the front to the back ,make sure there is no cut or broken spots'which would be a spot on the cable that looks as if its been scraped against the ground .If there is a brake in that cable it will need replacement.
* Put the shroud and the seat back on the scooter if everything checks out ,Get on the scooter turn the key make sure that needle goes all the way to fully charged mark go slow tap the top of the console if it stops faster than it did before or doesn't at all your looking at a new key switch.

Yes, the number on the seat post is a serial number for the scooter. Please call Merits in Florida at 1-800-963-7487 and ask them to send you a key. They may send you one for free or a nominal charge. If you need a key right away they will direct you to a local dealer who has one in stock. Hope this helps.

The seat is raised by using the key in the ignition switch. Turn the key to the rightmost position. You will hear the seat latch pop. Lift up on the seat, and there you are.

Seat--- To open the seat:--- 1. Place the scooter on the centerstand.-- 2. Insert the key into the main--- switch, and then turn it counterclockwise to “OPEN”.--- NOTE:
Do not push inward when turning the
key.
3. Fold the seat up.

1. Fold the seat down, and then
push it down to lock it in place.
2. Remove the key from the main
switch if the scooter will be left
unattended.
