just trace the wires from the horn backwards ,OR, from the handlebar switch forward until you run into the relay....(removing the gas tank makes this much easier)

Turn signal on harley sposter tunr on by thamself

I'd look for a short in the handlebar switch housing or behind the headlight on the side that the signal is coming on. Check the turn signal switch.

Turn Signals Won't Work

Using volt meter to verify polarity for each wire from your dads bike to yours, could help. Also try removing the bulb from each socket try them one side at a time (left bulbs then rite bulbs), not sure about them working when off but sounds like power coming from wrong source(battery),should be on the ignition circuit. compare to your fathers bike!

Have hand control wireing problem ,,,, need to know what color wire does what ,,,, got the left hand control to wire up on a older bike,,,,, hooking up trun sigals and head light control,,,,what color...

This information applies to the vast majority of Honda motorcycles. Colors for the right handlebar switch are: Grey sends power to the turn signal switch. Light Blue goes from the turn signal switch, to the right turn signals. Orange goes to the left turn signals. Light Green goes to the horn button.
The left handlebar switch: Yellow With Red stripe goes to the starter button. Black wires take power to the headlight switch and the kill switch. White goes to the headlight low beam, Blue to the high beam. Brown / White goes to the tail light, running and instrument lighting. Black / White comes from the kill switch and delivers power to the ignition coils.
I hope this helps.

Lights, turn signals, horn don't work

Look for a bad ground connection inside the headlight shell (or possibly elsewhere). The other thing that all of the items you mention that are working intermittently have in common is the ignition switch. With the switch 'on', check for battery voltage at the fuses for the headlight, turn signals, horn, etc. No voltage at the fuses likely means a bad ignition switch.

check for a break in the wiring on the left side of handlebar where wiring exits switch housing, sounds like wire(from headlight switch/signals) arcing to a ground(possibly handlebar)
