Question about Motorcycles
I have replaced the battery (due to sitting up),starter, cleaned and scrapped all the fuses& relays still nothing. You turn the key on you have lights,Rt.front turn signal can't turn it off unless the key is turned off.Is there a fuel or ignition shut off in the system due to wrecks ?
Can you hear a click during that 2 secounds? Thats the relay shutting off the pump just what its suppost to do. The pump does not run contenuosly, if it did it would burn up, thats what the relay is for, it kicks on and off to maintain the correct pressure to engine as needed. It will not turn back on until it resets itself because engine was not running, thats the way there designed.

I just expiriance the same problems on my rover so i check it out and found that the engine spark fuse was out. I replaced the said fuse and their you go it started. You can find that fuse under the dashboard in the satellite 1 fuse box. it should be the 3rd one from the right. Good luck buddy hope that helps you out.

Yes, it sounds like your solenoid is bad and staying engaged against the flywheel, you could do an amperage draw and a voltage drop test to find out for sure, but you will need an DVOM and a amp clamp. Or you could take it into an auto parts store and they will test it for free. Hope this helps.
