looking at the diagram for the machine
i see the line door this is used to turn on and off the motor
i think if the heating element fails or one of its fuses {prob a bad element} then the machine will stop half into a cycle because it cant heat up
so it will just stop dead

its not a very intellegent machine so i expect no error codes etc
hope im right and its the heater etc... as it makes sense if you look over the diagram at the link above

this may sound silly but check the waste outlet pump electrically, some models are wired up so if the pump fails the water will not enter the machine, this works on the theory that if it fills up it can not empty also check the solenoids for open circuit electrically, double check the water supply to the machine, it may have been fine but you could have kinked the pipe placing the machine back where it should go?

SOURCE: washing cycle light won't stop blinking

The filter might be clogged. If you haven't found a fix or answer yet -it's been 2 days :o) There are two screws on the bottom panel, take it off, unscrew the round cap in the middle (make sure you have plenty of towels) and check the filter.

SOURCE: zanussi washing machine wont spin

check the drain hole when you start the machine if the water is coming back out , if yes that means your dump valve is bad.

Either one of these.

Control board has failed.
Control knob has failed.
Motor has failed.
Motor controller has failed.
If you can hear the motor turning, the coupler has failed.

You need a service call to get correct diagnostics and warranty on the repair.

I HAVE A ZANUSSI AQUACYCLE WASHING MACHINE ZWF1221W. IT WORKs THROUGH THE WASH BUT JUST BUZZES ON THE RINSE CYCLE. I CAN TURN IT TO SPIN & EMPTY AND THAT WORKS AS WELL.

clair you may have a cold water problem, it may have filled with hot water and gone through wash cycle but as it got to rince it only fills with cold water ,the buzzing may be the cold water solenoid staying open and if there is no water passing through it will make a buzzing noise,
1.check the cold water valve # is on . it's what the blue /cold hose is connected to, also in some hoses there is a filter ,it's possible it could be blocked but unlikely.
2. check the cold water hose has not bend in half from the wall valve to the washing machine, this will stop the water flowing.
3. or it's possible you could have a faulty cold water solenoid valve.**
cold water pipe on wall> water valve# > blue cold water hose > * *cold water solenoid valve on machine.
