Asked about my generator the other day it was in the shed for quite awhile took it out and tried to start it but would not start what should I do?
Tried to start it and gas was running out of the air filter I finally checked the oil and there was gas in the oil I took all the oil out and changed it four different times I tried to start it but now it wont stay running model number is 41311what do I do now?

Does it have a choke setting on the throttle may need to run with choke until warm. Also check fuel line for tap as tap may be in off for fuel. check if any kill switch as may be active. may need to change the fuel in the fuel tank as fuel goes off over a period of time.

This comes from gas getting from the carb when the engine is stopped. The carb will need a good cleaning. Kawasaki has vent tubes just to avoid this when air venting gets plugged. Just saying. ..
There are a couple of possibilities
-someone put too much oil in it.
-the carb float stuck and gas ran into the oil.
If it sat for awhile, a gunked up carb is almost guaranteed.
Pretty much no other way for too much oil.
Clean the carb, make sure the float is not sticking, Put the correct amount of oil in it, and run it.
I had the same problem. Look somewhere under the solar panels on the wind mill. You will find one or two buttons. This will control the lights. You just need to press them to turn them on. It took me awhile to find this, but they are around the solar charging panels.
