Found a vac line that plugs in under carb,Little metal sleeve that a vac line goes to
Chilton or Haynes book will have the diagram also you can search on the net

the sleeve is a heat shield it keeps the manifold from baking the boot if you leave it off it will still work for a while it will however fail much earlier than if you put it back on hope this helps

i would invest in spark plug puller the pliers is about 10 or 15 dollars save money in the future.pry them wires right off with them

extremely prone to malfunctions due to improper vacuum connections. If a
component does not receive vacuum at the correct time, it cannot
function when needed. When working under the hood, pay close attention
