You would bleed the ABS system in a normal fashion, preferably with a vacuum operated bleeder, BUT then you really need the HD DT2 computer program to then run the system, cycle the pump, the rest of the system and test the ABS systems operation and update the computer. Only HD dealerships will have the DT2 computer system to analyze and update the ABS system as is necessary after bleeding the ABS brake system. YOU WILL BE BEST TO TAKE IT TO A DEALERSHIP AND HAVE THAT DONE FOR YOU. THE CHARGES SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN AN HOUR'S LABOUR AND BRAKE FLUID WILL BE THE SAME COST IF YOU BUY IT YOURSELF OR THE DEALERSHIP PROVIDES IT AND CAHRGES IT OUT ON YOUR BILL. THE ABS SYSTEM IS NOT SOMETHING TO ECONOMIZE WITH/ABOUT. I WOULD HAVE THE DEALERSHIP DO IT FOR ME IF I NEEDED IT TO BE DONE.

ABS light and traction light and no cruise control

how on earth would the blind know what is wrong.?
scan it? yet?
btw, newer cars cut cruise feature for any signs of danger.
new laws...
the traction needs ABS to work ,so forget that and fix ABS.
ABS needs 2 things to work , brakes and ABS.

so if brakes are bad, then ABS will get upset.
after all, if it cant brake right, how can the puter save you?
if brakes are known to be ok (inspections work here)
but in this case it was BREACHED by you, with out reading the book first.
then scan the ABS. (omg? code for dead sensor?) nah, you caused it..
easy

ABS resets every key on. so...
my guess, if ABS was happy before your actions( you never said)
then you got air in to the system. and failed to follow the FSM instructions on bleeding brakes, in ABS car.

front caliper, did you block the hose with cap, so it didn't allow air to the modulator? oops... never just let them drip... or . max pain.
bleed it again, (using any or all 5 ways to do so, bleeding is skill thing) (many modulators can not just be simply bled)

now Ill quote the 2012 fSM for you , under brakes

ABS Brake Bleeding
STANDARD PROCEDURE - ABS BRAKE BLEEDING

ABS system bleeding requires conventional bleeding methods plus use of a scan tool. The procedure involves performing a base brake bleeding, followed by use of the scan tool to cycle and bleed the HCU pump and solenoids. A second base brake bleeding procedure is then required to remove any air remaining in the system.

Perform base brake bleeding, (Refer to Brakes - Standard Procedure)(Refer To List 1).

Connect scan tool to the Data Link Connector.

Select ANTILOCK BRAKES, followed by MISCELLANEOUS, then ABS BRAKES. Follow the instructions displayed. When scan tool displays TEST COMPLETE, disconnect scan tool and proceed.

Perform base brake bleeding a second time, (Refer to Brakes - Standard Procedure)(Refer To List 1).

Top off master cylinder fluid level and verify proper brake operation before moving vehicle.

No fluid at rear brakes on 1995 Olds Cutlass Supreme. I took it into a shop and the code said ABS motor was bad. Would be the cause of no brake fluid coming out when I take banjo fitting off?

Hello
The ABS in this car is what is called Active ABS, so yes a defective ABS Hydraulic control unit motor can cause this problem. Other things that can cause the problem is a defective brake master cylinder or Air trapped in the ABS control unit. You do not say you have done any parts replacement. If this problem did start after any brake system repair then be advised it takes a special tool that electrically holds open the ABS control valves so the air can be removed through bleeding, so if you opened yup the system you must have a shop with the proper tool do the bleeding. There is no way to bleed the brakes at home using conventional brake bleeding means.

After bleeding the rear and front ABS systems of my R1150R, when bleeding the front right, the ABS pump wouldn't come on and the ABS light flashes rapidly. What can i do?

How are you bleeding the brake system?

If you are simply trying to bleed the front brakes by putting fluid in the handlebar mounted reservoir and bleeding it out of the caliper, you have emptied the ABS controller reservoir under the gas tank. This is why the ABS light flashes.

Post more information and I can try to give you some help, but you will have to remove the fuel tank etc. You need a few special tools to bleed the ABS brakes on this bike.

Awaiting your comments.....

WELL THE DELCO MORAINE ABS BRAKE SYSTEM HARD TO BLEED WITHOUT A TECH 1 SCAN TOOL.YOU HAVE TO RAISE PISTONS IN THE HYDRALIC MODULATOR TO THE HOME POSITION BEFORE BLEEDING THE SYSTEM. THE DEALERSHIP OR GARAGE WILL HAVE TO PRESSURE BLEED AND USE TECH 1 SCAN TOOL.IF YOU HAD THE OLD SCHOOL NON ABS BRAKE SYSTEM YOU CAN MANUAL BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM WITH NO PROBLEMS.

I WOULD NOT KEEP DRIVING IT.WHEN ABS LIGHTS AND BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON.YOU HAVE BRAKE FAILURE. TOW IT TO DEALERSHIP HAVE IT SERVICE.AND CHECK THE ABS BRAKES SYSTEM .BECAUSE ABS BRAKE SYSTEM IS NOT A HOME FIX.BECAUSE THE ABS HYDRAULIC MODULATOR UNIT HAS LOWER FROM HOME POSITION .IN ORDER TO MOVE THE MASTER CYLINDER FROM UNIT.YOU NEED A TECH 2 SCANNER TO DO THE JOB.TO GET ABS BRAKES TO BLEED RIGHT BEST TO GET THEM PRESSURE BLEED INSTEAD OF MANUAL BLEEDING GET LESS AIR IN SYSTEM.THAT WHY SEE DEALER SHIP HAS THE THINGS TO DO THE JOB.

I just bought a 1993 honda accord EX. I replaced all the brake pads and LR caliper and bleed the brakes. The other day coming home in trakkic with my AC on, my brakes went all the way to the floor. I...

Do you still have the problem ? If so, try disabling the ABS completely (electrically) by disconnecting the 50 amp breaker and remove the ABS controller. You should have brake power restored and be careful as the brakes will lock now if you apply too much foot pedal pressure. I hope this helps.
