Yes, certainly a good goldsmith can do this, as the metal is amenable to "welding" of the correct sort. You'd be best to find a manufacturing sort of jeweller/goldsmith as that person will be experienced.

How do I unravel gold and silver chains that have entangled?

Here is how I just did it.

We both want to save your chain(s) , don't we?

Since this technique has worked for two of my wife's gold chain, but I haven't seen yours, so I cannot fully guaranty the result.
This has to be done preferably into a "relaxing and peaceful environment", without any deadline!
:-)

First, wear a pair of gloves and protect your fingers.
Then take your chain(s) and look how it is tangled. At this point, wearing a good pair of magnifying reading glass could also help.
Poke in the tangle with a pin (size of pin proportional to the size of the wire of your chain). You can also try a small finishing nail, a knitting needle, a BBQ stick, anything that has a sharp end.
Drop one little drop of mineral (baby) oil (dish soap) in the tangle.

Look at your progress with your magnifying glass.
Holding the chain on one hand, give the pin (stick) a good shake.

I need to know the sincronization on a time chain for a nissan mazima 97, engine 3.0

The camshaft inner chains have gold links on them to line up with the mating marks on the camshaft inner sprockets.
The Main Drive Chain has two blue links that line up on the camshaft outer sprocket mating marks and a gold link that lines up with the mating mark on the crankshaft sprocket.

How to solder gold chains

Soldering gold chains happend to be a bit tricky as you have to use gold also as the soldering element. First you heat up the soldering element until it turns liquid like then heal up the two point which you intend to solder and pour the soldering element. But it is advicable to get a goldsmith to do this for you to maintain the beauty of the gold chain.

Sunstar makes gold anodized sprockets, and Tsubaka and DID both make a chain with gold side plates.

While driving I shift gears to come to a stop and as I am slowing down here what sounds like a chain or something loose in the engine or shifting area. Could it be in the shifting area or the timing...

Gold Wings do not have a timing chain they have timing belts and they are at the front of the engine and run from the crank shaft to the heads for the cams. If there is a sound coming from the shifter area I would say it's coming from the drive shaft. You need to check the shaft lube level and trans fluid level. It aslo cound leed to damage if the lube levels or low.
