SOURCE: how to lower the idle on a 2002 yamaha 650 v-star classic?

under the left side of the gas tank you will see i black knob/screw at the end of what looks like a hose. the knob faces the rear of bike. that adjusts the idle. its real easy to find and the only adjustment you can make to the carbs.

SOURCE: How difficult is it to install a new speedometer

That is a fairly easy task.
Remove the speedo bezel, and disconnect the wires and the speedo cable.
Remove the rear seat, then remove the front seat.
Unbolt the gas tank, turn fuel off, disconnect fuel line, slide tank back then remove.
Unscrew speedo cable from speedo drive at front wheel axle.
Note routing of speedo cable, remove speedo cable, install new cable using same routing as old cable. You will probably have to spin the inner cable to get it to properly engage the drive mechanism at the bottom. If you install the bottom first, you can turn the cable at the top with your fingers until the bottom fully seats.
Give each fitting for the speedo cable a slight twist (1/8 of a turn past finger tight) with a pair of pliers so they don't come loose
Reinstall all remaining parts in reverse order of dis-assembly.

Vstar 650 2005 tire pressure

The pressure on the sidewall is the max for that tire. Not the "correct" for model and weight of bike - and that value is usually significantly lower.

I have a 2002 VStar classic 650 problem with high speed vibration

I would guess that the tires need balancing. There is a product you can buy that is a bunch of little BB's you put in the tire that will balance it. I have not used it so I would recommend taking your bike to a tire shop and have them balace it for you.

Uneven front tire wear

I would suggest that the wheel is of centre. check your preload and fork oil. you may also have a weak spring. this will allow one fork to ride higher and cause the wheel to lean to one side.
