Why does it start good then only ***** around slow -yamaha golf cart

I have a 1991 G2a golf cart. It starts and runs good for the first few moments, then it bogs out and only puts around! Any solutions to my problem thanks. joe

Check the air bleed screw in the gas cap that it is undone

My golf cart has to crank more than necessary before engine starts. Choke does not seem to make a difference.
The carb choke circuit is most likely plugged which is why it has slow starting. The clunk may be from the engine idle being set to high. It probably is running high idle because it has carb issues and the fuel system may need cleaning.

I have a g1 2stoke Yamaha cart it cranks for ever before it starts.wants it starts it takes off then falls on face.finally it will start to run.but every time it set's for awhile. I go through same.

Yamaha Golf Cart won't start
did you leave the key on and kill the battery or a light or something double ck that battery , they will still light up the ignition and lights and ll but does not have enough to crank the starter , that is what is sounds like to me be put a jump on it or charge it and try again , when you turn on the ignition does the lights light up on the dash panal if so the batter is low
