I have a lexmoto arrow 125 HT 125-4F WHEN IT IS COLD IT TICKS OVER AND RUNS WELL BUT WHEN IT GETS WARM OR HOT IT STOPS AND WILL NOT START FOR ABOUT 10 MINS AND THEN RUNS AND KEEPS DOING THIS IS THIS THE VALVE CLEARANCE WRONG IF SO CAN YOU TELL ME THE VALVE CLEARANCE PLEASE
Sorted it. It was the manifold what gos to the carburettor was split i changed it and now runs sweet as a nut one's runs perfect to anyone who has this problem check the manifold 4 splits.just fort I'll update. I have a lexmoto arrow 125cc but when it's cold it ticks over but when warm it keeps Cutin out and engine gets very hot. Any one no why that is plz. Thanks

You might have 2 problems. First is the cold start should have a choke plate that closes so the engine will run a little rich until warmed up, then the choke should be fully open. Second is the run on, that is usually caused by carbon build up in the cylinders. The carbon gets hot and ignites the fuel air mixture without the spark plug sparking. The carbon build up might be cleaned up by using sea foam. Spray into the carb while running and warmed up. Spray it until the engine sputters and stops. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes and then start the car. When the sea foam is an oil that gets under the carbon and while running at operating temperature it burns off taking some of the carbon with it.
C190 is a 2.0 L OHV 8V engine same as marine 4AA1.
when warm did you try diesel test fuel?
runs now , right, or runs and stalls. right?
that be the biggest clue there.
besides black smoke.
lost compression hot.
or lost fueling hot.
simple test for compression and test fuel....... leaving what?
ive got a wre 125 husky n its fine when cold try and hot ticking over try adjusting the idling screw on carb when started not sure how many turns from the in position
