Sounds like it is running too lean. Look for an air leak around the carburettor manifold.

I looks like your oxygen sensor,Try to disconnect and then see what the car does?Let me know. You may need to adjust the fuel mixure, seem it is running a little rich that is why the car in idle goes up and down.

Would not start after a time it started then died when i trided to rev engine up

Try pulling out your choke and not reving the engine if your engine fails to stay started depress the
choke and try again but this time jump on your bike and don't give the scooter two much gas and run it around a little bit, you might need to place some premium gas in it. I't could well be bad gas.
How long has the scooter been sitting?

2001 FORD FOCUS LOAD TICKING NOISE

it very well can be that depending on the severity of the ticking noise, if it sounds like its coming from the top of the engine, place your hand on it only when you first start it up and if you can feel it knocking slightly and if the noise dies away once warmed up id say its your lifter, if its a heavier knocking rather than a ticking and comes from below or bottom end of engine it may be big end bearing, not good. try putting some engine treatment through the engine oil and make sure you run it in as directions state then change the oil and filter and see if that helps :)

Engine problems

Have you noticed whether this happens more often when the scooter hasn't got as much fuel in the tank? (e.g. sloshed around so not enough is getting through the pipe) Next time you fill up, put a Fuel additive such as Redex in the tank with it.... and maybe also put something like Slick 50 in with the Engine oil, then see what happens from there.
