I have a 1993 intruder 800 (vs800) it starts fine and runs great but after I fill up the fuel tank with gas it sputters and hesitates and bogs out, but after about 5 to 10 minutes it runs fine again any ideas on why this is?

When you fuel up, try not to aerate the fuel. Let the nozzle dump the fuel over the hump in the tankto avoid getting it all aired up. Good Luck.

My ttr acts like it starting and dies i changed the spark plug just sputters longer before it dies

Hmmmm does the bike idle fine? Or does it bog and miss fire? Either way it could be running rich ( too much gas) or it could have bad gas in it pending if and when you last drained the tank and filled it

My 1995 Suzuki VS800 Intruder wont start!!!

it could be the switch itself, also check the starter solenoid under the seat. if those are both fine check the wires under the tank and make sure you're getting a good connection.

Suzuki vs800 intruder dies after about a mile!

Sounds like water in the gas. ALWAYS have a fire extinguisher on hand when working on carburetors.
For each carb > Drain the carburetor. There should be a screw on the lower side or bottom of the carb float bowl. Remove the screw then replace it after the fuel drains. Turn the gas back on and wait a minute for the carb to fill with gas. If the bike doesn't start and run properly then shut off the gas and remove the carburetor from the engine.

Remove the float bowl and clean the entire carb with a spray carb cleaner from the auto parts store. Wear protective goggles to avoid getting spray in your eyes. Spray into all the little airways and fittings in the carb.
Put the carb back together, clean the air filter and install the carb. Let the float bowl fill then start the engine. This process should get you back on the road.
