Why does my bike die on takeoff then refires immediately

Not sure what year, make, model of bike, but basic testing should be done back to coil(s), if the bike fires when cold but once warmed up will not fire, could be a bad coil, or sometimes it could be a bad cam or crank sensor causing it not to start. If it's a newer bike say 2000 or newer, I'd take a look at the sensors first.

If you're getting vapor lock, the bike will die after a few miles, and not restart for several minutes.
If the bike dies, immediately remove the gas cap and see if the bike will restart right away.
You could also ride it without the gas cap (try it on a tank that's 1/4-1/2 full, NOT fully full, because of gas splash) and see if it doesn't die after a few miles.

Sounds like something acting like a little flapper valve in your fuel line/ filter, system. Blocking it briefly. Could be the opposite too, excess fuel flooding it out briefly. D you smell fuel after it happens? Does it do it cold or hot? Both?

The Clutch on some bikes will disengage the starter motor. Yamaha will not allow you to engage gear when the side stand is down. Hope this gives you some idea

Fuel pump maybe mine did the same and a new fuel pump fixed it. The bike ran great as long as the tank was full but died off the lower the gas level got.. Good luck.

Chances are that some trash has gotten into the float bowl and is intermittently plugging up the main jet. When the bike dies the suction on the jet dies, the trash is no longer blocking the jet and the bike starts right up.

If the bike is not used for a while (4 weeks + ) carby need cleaning the jets

Could be one of a couple of things. Tach not programmed properly or wire not connected correctly. Or the immobilizer bypass is not programmed or working properly.

hav u done a tuneup-chec plug wires n batt-wat about an inspect of wiring thru bike-they can hide alot-giv carbs a physical too
