SOURCE: battery loses charge on gsxr750

If you know the battery is in good condition, you will need to check regulator rectifier, and alternator, these are the normal failure in the charging system

I have a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo 2.6L cylinders 2 & 3 won't fire after vehicle starts but will fire if I unhook cylinder 1 or 4 what will cause this

USA car? must I GUESS?
so you have 2 coil packs. ????
called wasted park
seems you typed the displacement wrong, !!! 2.2L is 4 banger...
1 and 4 fire as a pair
2 and 3 , fire as a pair , in series

so if the spark wires open , you loose a pair,
say #1 opens, you loose #4 with it.
they are wired in series.
if one spark wire grounds out , you lose only THAT spark plug.
but why would you get the odd pack to pack cross talk.
(assumes you have the HV wired right. correct?)
the packs cant be wired up willly-nillly.
this is the 2.2L coil pack.
and IS wasted SPARK system. for sure.
and can not be mixed up
the PCM is hard coded for 1,3,4,2 firing order.
and must be wired right. did you meddle here?
if you unplug the 2 one right , this must not make the 2 on left work.
pulling 1 wire, only kills the adjacent wire. normal.
see the pairs there, at the bottom see those hiddencoil packs mail coils molded to case?
if you are wired right and you have cross talk from 1/4 to 2/3 bank
the pack is bad.

What is the spark plug wire to coil order on a 86 zl 900 kawasaki eliminator

The firing order is 1-2-4-3. The left cylinder is #1.

1&4 fire on the same coil and 2&3 fire on the same coil.

Fireing order after fiting taylor ht leads to dynacoils

you don't need a firing order...left coil runs 1 and 4...right coil runs 2 and 3...it's called a wasted spark system...each coil fires 2 cylinders together but only one will be on it's combustion stroke at the time.

No spark to rear cylinders runs good and then runs on one cylinder 1986 honda shadow 1100

try switching the position of the two coils, the plug wires will unscrew off of the coils and that way you dont have to pull the spark plug wires too,(be sure and change the 2 wire couplers too) if your front cylinder stops firing you know its the coil, if the back cylinder still doesn't fire then your coil is good and you either have a bad #2 spark unit or a bad crank pulse generator.

Spark plug firing order

check the ignition coil power source...get a test light & check for power with the key on @ the positive side of the coil...if it does have power have a friend crank the engine over & check the negative side for a flashing light..if it does then make sure you have spark @ the coil if not replace the coil
