the bulbs are pre-set in focus and if fitted correctly in the head light assembly they will be focused and adjusted correctly. Try adjusting the whole head light assembly by the 3 screws / adjusting knobs at the back of the assembly to aim the head lights correctly.
Headlight Adjusting Screw Operation:Used to adjust headlight beams up or down and left or right, it's located above and to the side of light behind the headlight retainer.
There are 2 adjusters for each headlight 1 left-right and 1 up-down. Raise the hood and look behind the headlight carrier for 2 long hex screws. 1 at the top of the carrier, and 1 at the center side of the carrier.
Most headlights have two adjustment screws. On on top and one on the side. These will be phillips head screws. Usually you would need to turn screw to the right to adjust right or up. Left for left or down.
Each head lamp also has it's own relay, you can rule the relay out by swapping the left head light relay with the right head light relay & see if the problem moves to the other side...The relays are also in the same under hood fuse box.
open the hood, take a close look at your headlights, if it is a headlight assembly, there are two screws with big plastic heads on the back of the assembly, these are the adjusting screws. one for horizontal adjustment and the other one is for vertical adjustment.
if the headlight is a round or square ordinary bulb, the adjusting screws are located near the bulb itself, these are philips screws. one on the top and one on the side.
a suggestion; when adjusting headlights, face the car to a wall about 5 ft away and adjust the headlight.
