Re: switch abs on or off how do i know it is on or off
When the bike first starts the ABS circuitry is tested and the light should go out within a few seconds. The ABS can not be turned off while the bike is in motion, you must come to a stop for that. Consult your owner's manual for the specific procedure for deactivating the ABS. Once it is deactivated your light will flash very slowly until the system is reactivated or the bike is turned off.

Okay the switch is in the back trunk area(I know it a SUV) in the back where you access the jacking tool youll see the switch make sure its on. Now some Navigator some have a shrader valve to pump up the suspension on the front area on driver side. As for the relay you might have to use a enhance scan tool to command it.By the way do you have a misfire?because if there is a misfire it will not inflate or a ABS light on? thse will also cause the suspension to not inflate
Maybe you somehow detached the encoder strip when removing the paper. First, before you put your hands inside the printer, unplug the power chord from your printer. This is important. Then open up the lid and locate the horizontal metal bar. Right above this there should be a semi-transparent plastic strip attached in the right and left side of your printer. If you see this, try moving it with your finger. If its properly attached, it should bounce back to it's original position. If it's loose, try to attach it to the right/left side again. If you can't find it, it probably fell off and is jammed inside the printer somewhere.
If the encoder strip looks OK, your carrier might have jammed in the left side of your printer. Keep the power chord unplugged. See if you can unjam the carrier by pulling it along the metal rod. If should be fairly easy to move back and forth, so you'll know if it's stuck. If you can't loosen it, your printer is probably damaged beyond repair. Check if you have warranty on it.
If you've got a ABS light on, you either have a failing ABS sensor, or an unsafe condition with the ABS. Your Town Car may have 2 ABS lights, one left and one right to leet you know which side is faulty. Either check for a bad sensor (they can go bad, it's basically an electrical cord that plugs into the top of the caliper) or have the brakes checked by a mechanic.
