I have just today had the same prob when I briefly disconnected the battery to clean the terminals. When I connected the battery again the flahers went off but not the siren, couldn,t get the flashers to stop unless I disconnected one terminal on the battery but even then I could hear the alarm ticking.Tried he solution already suggested to you but as soon as I touched the turn switch the siren sounded. Silenced this by pressing the fob & that seemed to reset the system. At least it,s silent now & nothings flashing.Trouble is my battery is now pretty flat so difficult to know if the prob is actually cured. Hope this helps.
