the return spring on the carburator is come undone. this should be a light spring that pulls the butterfly closed and pulls against the wire from the throttle control and the arm that hooks the butterfly to the auto throttle advance. look for a loose spring and then make sure that both ends of the throttle control cable move and are hooked up. you should see the butterfly on the carb. move back and forth when you change throttle position.
