Sounds like the battery was on it's way out, time for a new one. Unless there is something wrong with the wiring harness maybe a short! Sounds like it was just your batteries time though. Goo luck!

Will not hold charge

If the rechargeable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

How to replace a front side marker bulb on a 2007 Toyota Yaris Sedan

You don't need a dealer for much of anything

All of todays vehicles require removing the lamp
assembly or housings, front or rear, of any vehicle,to
take out the lamps/bulbs

If you open the hood you will find screws that hold it in place

May not be an easy job, but that's the junk were sold

Well, if the Batt don't hold charge then check the regulator on the bike with an Ohmmeter you can buy one at an Auto parts shop....motor running you should see 14.5 V if not then the Reg is out!!!

Replacing headlight bulb. How to get the grill out.

For agrivation go to walmart and have an oil change and ask them to change the headlight bulbs, they do NOT CHARGE EXTRA labor charges.

Otherwise, gently apply pulling pressure on the front grill every few inches to get the grill unhooked on the top and bottom nearest the headlight assembly. Then have someone hold the grill assembly out while you pull out the headlight assembly to access the rear of it to remove the hold down nut to remove the bulb's. Reverse removal procedure, which is actually harder to put the headlight assembly back into place then it is to remove.
