SOURCE: location of drain plug on 07 Suzuki DL650

If you're standing under the right side of the bike, under the throttle, you'll follow the bottom of the motor from the Oil Filter to roughly 8-10 inches back. On the bottom right side of the motor you'll have the drain plug. Give it a twist and you'll see the oil in the rings before you get a stream.

On the left side near the bottom of the casing. Be sure to install a new oil filter and to remove and clean the oil pressure switch.

2009 rm-z 250 kickstart won't budge

pull the sparkplug[s] spray some PB Blaster inside, then let it set like that for a few days....then try to kick syart without having the ignition on...if it starts turning....then replace fresh plugs and you'll probably needs to spray some ETHER [ starting fluid ] in the intake to compensate for the oil you sprayed inside

underneath on the bottom of your motor...there is a drain screw right wwhere your bike sits on its stand..very easy to see

Suzuki rm 250 2003 model..........The front forks are dropping down and you have to pull them up to correct position. Do I need to put fork oil? How much and where do I drain off the old oil?

use the correct poss ion to fut fork oil........ and you should be drain new oil and them drain off the old oil

32 to 1. That means 4 ounces of two stroke engine oil per gallon of gas. NEVER use motor oil.

What is the proper way to check transmission oil level on my 03 rm250

Hello. The engine and the trans do NOT use the same oil. The engine oil is premixed with the fuel. The transmission oil is filled with the filler plug on the right side of the engine case. Look under the kick stand, see the 850 ml marking? The trans holds that much oil. Either drain the oil and add that exact amount.... OR you can take out the check screw located lower and forward of the oil fill on the case, should look just like a case bolt, but with an aluminum washer to seal it. Once you remove this bolt/plug you can add oil till the oil flow out this hole. Joe

Transmission Fluid Specs

Castrol Syntec motorcycle 10-40wt is what i woul recommend and you have a dipstick. So if you have drained the old fluid start by pouring in 1 qt. then check the dipstick w/ bike level on level ground. Then add a little oil at a time until full..If you have a sightglass instead of a dipstick then fill half to 3/4 up the sightglass. Buy 2qts while your at the store...good Luck to you friend...Tim
