go to your local Chrysler dealer a buy the proper bulbs, they come complete and proper wattage, and they are cheap in price. word of caution replace all the illumination bulbs, when one is black the rest will follow. GOOD LUCK RDJRP
You need to remove th whole inst. cluster to replace the bulbs that are located on the BACK side in bulb carriers. Usually turning a 1/4 turn to the left reomves the carries in order to replace the bulbs. Some manufactuers, you have to replace the bulb carrier/socket and bulb as a unit , others just pull the bulb and replace with the SAME type bulb as removed. Most instrument carriers will have on the back what the particular bulb in a specific position is used for by a symbal and the wattage for the also ie: 2.5, which is 2.5 watts. In remove ing the cluster be very careful removeing the connectors from the back. There are certain ways each has to be released to come off but usally can only go in a certain location in the cluster, just make a mental note to yourself has you disconnect them and you will be fine.
