fastest ways to increase mileage on your bike.
Have the correct tire pressure
Lubricate your chain more
Use higher octane fuel
put new spark plugs with multiple spark points
install a new air filter (more breathable)
Use good quality engine oil (it will say HIGH MILEAGE / LESS WEAR)

Have fun

tune up carburetor, wheel alignment, tire balance, rotate tires, put a fuel cleanser in your gas tank. hook up to a computer for other problems related to car.

What ever could be done to increase mileage...was done by company expert....before launching the bike..
you can simply retain the mileage of your bike by taking proper precautions.
timely change ur bike oil (around 1500 km)
used standard quality bike oil.
timely servicing from authorized persons.
no harsh driving..braking and accelerating changes should be minimum

as a rule, no. many overdrives are automatic and don't engage until you reach 40- 45 mph and they do this by themselves. yes, this does affect gas mileage because the purpose of overdrive is to shift the transmission into a higher gear producing less strain on motor and ****** thereby increasing fuel mileage. conversely, if ****** is in high gear at lower speeds this increases strain (motor feels like it's lugging) reducing mileage. sounds as though you have manually selective overdrive and you will have to monitor mileage both with button pushed and without. then try pushing the button only when you reach 40-45 but you'll have to be continually conscious of the speeds at which you're driving.

Hi keep one thing in your mind mileage and pickup both are inversely proportional if you try to increase the mileage the pick up will go down if you increase the pickup mileage will go down. Follow the steps to keep the engine in good condition.

Every 2000 kms 1.change the oil 2.clean the spark plugs 3. clean the air filter change if needed. 4. check the clutch plates. 5. check chain play and ride the bike 40 to 60 kms speed max it will increase your mileage.

If you want to increase the mileage I strongly suggest that you have the engine calibrated. Calibration can increase engine performance and mileage.

You increase your mileage by covering more miles

The only thing that would give you more power without hurting fuel mileage would be a turbo charger. Any other method would decreas mileage.

change oil every 1500kms use shell engin oil thats gives better milage Use unleaded petrol dont use xtraprimium or speed petrol, Clean carburator every 5000kms, ride 50-60kmph in 5th gear [top gear],check air pressur of tyre, do not use clutch wile riding.,,,

It's probably like the old manual fuel gauge needle where it would take longer to get from 'F' to midway than from midway to 'E'. We all know that according to the gauge the last bit of gas goes faster. I think the digital readout is doing the same thing. I don't know why though.
