take it back and say FIX IT.
or
check all fuses
and scan the PCM (BCM) see what it tells you?
or take it back.

check the ground and look for the body modual water could have gotenin the conector

Was the bulb you took out a double element bulb? And if so did you put a double element bulb back in?

The Bulbs Have 2 filliments in them if 1 is burnt out that would give you the fast not working tail light there may be an issue with the brake light switch located above the brake pedal on the arm.

Has to be a grounding issue,look for a chassis ground from the
back harness,pretty weird symptom

Fuse #2 10A in underhood fuse box. Also, there's a tail light relay. Check that as well

When you disconnect the battery it resets the ECU (computer). These have a lot of computer problems. Still working normally? Please rate.

your tail light has no graund. usualy plastic conector no the lamp melt down around ground cable

newer bikes also light up the turn signals along with the headlights for extra visability. long as they also flash when signaling , all is fin

Thanks for the email back. The nissan quest tail lights werenot operating, but the break lights were working. This was ultimately caused by a blown fuse. The fuse was blown by loose trailer lighting wires dragging on the ground, thus shorting. Problem fixed.
